What is All on 4 treatment?
All on 4 is a procedure describing the use of 4 dental implants to support a dental bridge to replace all missing teeth in the upper and/or the lower jaw. Sometimes, 4 implants may not be enough due to soft bone and 5 or 6 implants may be needed to give extra support.
When is it suitable?
This treatment may be suited for someone who has either lost all their natural teeth, or needs their remaining teeth extracted due to being badly damaged by decay or gum disease. All on 4 is a fixed option and is different to removable dentures.
What does the All on 4 procedure involve?
Typically a consultation is carried out first to obtain all dental records. A thorough medical history is taken and a cone beam 3D x-ray taken to assess the amount and structure of your jawbones. Once the dentist is able to confirm you are a suitable candidate, we will then plan the implant positions in order to support your ideal dental bridge.
